The Sei-Do-Kan Karate Club is one of the longest established shotokan karate clubs in the UK.

"Sei Do Kan" translates from Japanese as "The House of the Way of the Spirit", and these Japanese characters (shown on the right) are part of our club logo and badge (which are both shown above).

Our chief Instructor is Sensei Billy Higgins (also shown above) who is a 7th Dan Black Belt, with over 40 year's karate experience at the highest level (including international competition), and is one of the top instructors in the country.

We also have several other CRB checked, qualified instructors, ranging from 1st to 4th Dan Black Belts, who assist with the classes.

We are a member of the Karate Union of Great Britain (KUGB), the largest karate governing body in the UK, and as such our members can take part in their training, competitions and other events.
